Cen-Tec Systems Integrated DX-QD Power Wand

The Integrated telescopic power wand from Centec is a stunning leap forward in both quality and design. Unlike older two piece wand sets that use external wires to connect the power brush to the grip, the new integrated power wand (i-Wand) from Cen-Tec features an entirely concealed power transmission from top to bottom. The new i-Wand system developed exclusively for Cen-Tec Systems is unique, made from chromed steel and designed to it Centec's quick disconnect power nozzles. Power plugs at both ends are housed in sleek connectors that mate perfectly with both powerbrush and hose. Extension and retraction of the i-Wand exposes the full length power rod channel. The new wand operates reliably with the quality full ratchet mechanism from OMEC of Italy, whom is world renowned for quality and dependability. The I-Wand also includes another handy feature that prevents many sore thumbs and fingers; the ButtonDown tab at the top gives you a large flat key that is easy to depress when disconnecting the wand from hose.

The I-Wand extends from 20" up to 39", the length of two standard wands, perfect for use with the powerbrush or a hard floor nozzle. The Centec I-Wand fits powered hoses with a recessed connection, including the Centec 3200 Series powered hose (Vacdepot models CVXZS868 & CVXZS866) and the Plastiflex powered hose models CVEHS866 and CVEHS868. If ordering a new hose ask for a recessed connection. If using with your old hose you will need to recess the connector, see video below. The I-Wand does not fit the Centec Tear-Drop handle hose or Hayden brand hoses. The tool end of the I-Wand fits all Centec DX and DXQD non-sensor power nozzles with quick disconnect (step-on wand release pedal) including models CT14DX(QD) , CT18DX(QD) , CT20DX(QD) , CT24DX(QD). Also fits with other brands of the CT14, CT18 & CT20 powerbrush from Lindsay (vaccummaid), Airvac (M&S Systems), Nutone (CT600 & CT650 - verify you can recess connector before ordering wand) and others. Does not fit power brush models with a built-in dirt sensor. If you have questions about which wand is right for your application please call Vacdepot for assistance.
